PRIVACY POLICY.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Rebecca Beenshill (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects through this website, how I use it, and your rights. I take your privacy seriously and only collect what I need.
1. Who I am
I am the data controller for information collected through this website. You can contact me at styling@rebeccabeenshill.co.uk.
2. What information I collect
I only collect personal information that you choose to give me, for example when you use the enquiry form or email me:
- your name and email address;
- the type of service you are enquiring about;
- any details you include in your message.
I do not ask for sensitive information. Please don’t include anything you wouldn’t want me to hold.
3. How I use your information
- to reply to your enquiry and discuss potential work together;
- to arrange and carry out any work we agree on;
- to keep a record of our correspondence.
I do not use your details for marketing mailing lists and I never sell your information.
4. Lawful basis
I process your information because it is necessary to respond to your request and to take steps towards a possible agreement with you, and because I have a legitimate interest in running my business and keeping a record of enquiries. Where I rely on legitimate interests, I make sure they don’t override your rights.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
6. Third parties
I do not share your information with anyone else, except where needed to run the website and my email (for example, my website host and email provider), who handle data on my behalf. Some website resources, such as fonts or images, may be loaded from third-party services, which may receive your IP address when your browser requests them. I may also share information if I am legally required to.
7. How long I keep your information
I keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your request and any work that follows, and for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless I need to keep them longer for legal or accounting reasons. After that, they are deleted.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you;
- ask me to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask me to delete your information;
- ask me to restrict how I use your information;
- object to me using your information;
- ask for your information in a portable format.
To use any of these rights, email me at the address above. I will reply within one month.
9. Keeping your information safe
I take reasonable steps to protect your information, including keeping my email and devices secure. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please take care what you share.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please contact me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
11. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
